Help Send Claude Lumley to the Brevard Summer Music Festival

Claude Lumley, graduate of Boerne High School and senior French Horn Music major at Baylor University, has been selected for the highly acclaimed Brevard Summer Music Festival in Brevard, NC. We all wish him the best of luck and are very excited indeed as he is on track for his career goals.

However, Claude’s instrument was stolen just before the auditions, forcing him to use a poorer quality, borrowed horn. Even with this devastating set back, this talented young musician was able to secure his position in the orchestra. As you can imagine your instrument, a French Horn, is very necessary and expensive to replace. He was left with no alternative but to use all the funds he had saved to attend this illustrious summer festival to replace his instrument. Having a Boerne High School Band member in this program is both exciting and prestigious.

Claude and his family and friends are asking the very generous community of Boerne to help and donate any funds to help send Claude to Brevard. Once a year, only 100 young rising stars in the orchestral music world, student musicians from the United States, Canada and Taiwan, are given this opportunity. Claude and 99 other musicians will work with Keith Lockhart, conductor of the Boston Pops Orchestra and will spend 7 weeks with musical colleagues from around the globe performing 9 concerts and 2 operas in this intense, professional environment.

Claude thanks you for considering helping him and says, “The Brevard Summer Institute is a great opportunity for me to improve my skills and make contacts with influential people who will help me find and secure jobs. Relationships with people, can greatly affect how you are viewed for being hired for a Symphony spot. This institute offers advanced training in solo, sectional (Symphony playing), chamber (Small ensemble playing), and operatic playing that is key to my training. The repertoire that this festival offers is extremely advanced both in symphonic literature and opera. With the possibility of playing such advanced pieces, I can only expect to learn more about this repertoire which will further my knowledge on the excerpts included in these pieces (vital skills needed to win a job). Also at this festival there will be opportunities for me to do mock auditions as well as a solo competition. This will train me directly for job auditions and will help me, through experience, to become more acute and aware during the audition process. Altogether this festival will train me, professionally, to better audition for a job and will raise the level of leadership and support I contribute to playing in a horn section. This is my dream. Master Story Teller Spins Tales for Local Clients

Debi Lamb is a master story teller and loves telling the stories of her clients, spinning tales and adding intriguing and unexpected twists that delight and draw in audiences everywhere. Each book sent out from Penguin Suits is beautifully crafted and unique, telling amazing stories in a vast variety of styles. Her ever expanding library is beginning to peak the interest of even the most exclusive book collectors.

At a recent appearance she was rumored to be speaking to a well known producer about the movie rights to one of her more recent books, Choose To Be. With a giggle of excitement she neither denied nor confirmed this, but she did drop hints that people “in the know” might find intriguing hints on a popular YouTube channel.

On the Move, she has a number of books in the making and, after being allowed a quick peek, I can say that you can continue to expect great things from this little author. I was amazed at the extensive use of color and style in the drafts. Most intriguing was the use of unexpected medium. I can hardly say more without ruining the surprises up the sleeve of this storybook magician. The only thing to do is keep your eyes on her and her little troupe of cohorts and expect to be delighted again and again.

Everyone loves to listen to a well written and presented story. With this in mind Debi Lamb began developing her clients brands like the amazing stories they are. Each individual and business has a unique story that requires individualized design, production and presentation. Debi continues to expand both design styles and presentation options to offer her clients the most widespread and effective use of their marketing budget.

Penguin Suits and The Familia Connection

Moving from her childhood home, in 1996 Debi Lamb was looking for a fresh start and new business opportunities in the Texas Hill Country. She started a marketing and design syndicate serving clients from San Antonio Brady. But what is she REALLY doing here????

Born in New York State, Debra Rose Mastrangelo Lamb spent her formative years learning the intricacies of Buffalo’s Sicilian neighborhood society. As the daughter of legitimate business man Ralph Anthony Antn’y Mastrangelo, believed by Buffalo authorities to be the architect behind the Groundhog Day Massacre, Debi found herself expelled from one girls Catholic School after another for reasons known only to the Sisters of Mercy and noted only in her now lost records. Debi eventually graduated and went on to earn her degree from The State University of New York at Buffalo in communications, marketing and advertising. All surviving S.U.N.Y. faculty, familiar to Debi, stanchly refused comment when asked about her.

Debra Mastrangelo arrived in the Boerne area as Debi Lamb. The details of Ms. Lamb’s witness relocation by the Federal Government only minimally outline her testimony in the Federal trial of Freddy The Trout Decarlo. Within 6 months, Lamb had moved into her current S. Main Penguin Suits storefront next door to book keepers Dianne and Michael Arthur. With a passion and flair all her own, Debi began to promote the Hill Country and area businesses, but Debi’s darker side also had her promoting a shadier clientele. Because old habits die hard, Penguin Suits associate Boerne’s Marble Slab Creamery became a paisano and helping to keep people on ice.

When the bodies really began piling up, Debi began working with local landscaping contractor Turf Masters. As business continued to blossom, she added associates Wallscapes Landscaping & Retaining Walls.- “Cousin Jimmy Hoffa fell into concrete, and look what it did for him,” states the princess slyly.

Lamb keeps Dr. Michelle Berry of Allure Laser & Skin Clinic fl ush through constant image re-confi gurations. Lamb may not necessarily be a victim of her own vanity, but simply a master of disguise. Rumor has it that Debi fi rst arrived in Boerne as a sixfoot blond. Un-named sources also tell me that she’s been a man at least twice prior to her current incarnation.

Given business advice by her Consigliere, Business Coach Pete Barrios, she keeps her self legitimate by investing extra funds and time sitting on board and volunteering for the worthy charities of the Moonlight Fund, Hill Country Daily Bread, and the Boerne Community Theatre.
