Many people already use mobile devices to access websites, and that number is growing quickly!
How do you know if your business is meeting this demand?
Here is the first step (not surprisingly, it is the same as with any marketing endeavor)…
Know YOUR audience.
- Look into analytics which reveal how your website is currently being used
- Define your IDEAL CLIENT realistically – age, sex, income level, marital status, concerns, information sources, hangouts (on and off-line), who do they trust…
NOTE: Choosing a real person who fits your criteria helps you judge, “Would So-and-so like this?” - Research the clients you HAVE to define your most consistent client and your most common clients in the same way you defined your ideal client.
Now you can make your first decision about going mobile:
Does my audience use mobile devices enough to justify the cost?Do the work and then answer this question truthfully.
Have you decided that many or even most of your clients look at your website on mobile devices? Then we press on to step 2… revealed in our next blog.
