How to Develop a Marketing Plan Part 4

This is a continuation of How to Develop a Marketing Plan

Welcome to part four.

Now that you have set your goals how will you achieve them? What do you need to look at to achieve these goals?

  • Your current company structure. Can it handle the growth?
  • Introduce new products
  • Grow/expand your target market
  • Enter new geographic markets
  • Cross-sell products
  • Enter collaborative contracts with other vendors
  • Raise prices
  • Change a product

You should explore these options and others that may be available to you; these will vary for businesses and industries.

The key is to take each goal and set a plan on how to achieve it. What are the steps you need to take to make those goals a reality. Choose carefully. Monitor progress and make changes along the way. A marketing plan is a living document and should be used and referred to often.

That is part four. Look for part five and please let me know if you have any questions.

Penguin Suits is here to help and marketing plans are just one of our specialties. Let me know what you think and we will look forward to talking with you and visiting. See you in part five!
